A quarter beef front weights 150- 200 lbs (70 – 90 kg) but can also be as small as 110 lbs (50 kg) or as large as 220 lbs (100 kg) due to variations in the size of the steer.
Please Note: Grass fed and grass finished beef may contain up to 5% of grains in their diet which usually consists of oats, wheat barley, a mix of peas, soybeans and corn – all of these grains are non GMO.
The price is $17.45 per lb, hanging weight*, providing that you will take all the cuts from this quarter beef. Your total price will be between
$ 1800.00 and $3488.00.
*Please be advised: Beef and Lamb packages will also have a Mehardin meat label, in addition to a Tiferet label. The Mehadrin label will have a date over the bar code. This is the production/packaging date and NOT a best before date.
The cuts will be up to you, below please find a sample of the cuts we offer.
We can custom cut the meat for you, providing these will be standard cuts.
We need a deposit of $800 before to reserve the meat for you. Then we will contact you to arrange the cuts, delivery, remaining payment and other details.
*The hanging weight is what you are charged for. There will be some loss of bone, cartilage and other unusable parts. This is normal, there is always some loss which is between 25% – 33% depending on the size of beef and a few other factors that are beyond our control.
Different butchers make the same cuts however, there are always slight differences, if you notice a slight deviation in packaging size and or in the cut that you are used to, we cannot be held responsible.
Packaging is in tray packs. If you want your order to be vacuum sealed, there will be an additional charge, provided that the processor is willing to vacuum seal the meat for you.

Our beef is raised in the most natural way possible:
Pesticide free feed
Herbicide free feed
Synthetic fertilizer free feed
GMO free feed
Our beef is pasture raised grass fed and finished, which means their diet consists almost completely of natural herbicide free grass & hay.* Our cattle graze on beautiful rolling hills far from industrial pollution during the spring, summer and autumn months. During the winter months, they eat high quality hay. Grass fed beef is usually much leaner than cattle that are entirely grain fed and somewhat smaller than conventional cattle. But this type of beef offers superior taste. (To understand the distinctions between grass fed versus grain fed see below.)
* Note: Grass fed and grass finished beef may contain up to 5% of grains in their diet which usually consists of oats, wheat barley, a mix of peas, soybeans and corn – all of these grains are non GMO.
Our beef farmer has been raising cattle for generations, from grandparents, to parents, to children to grandchildren. They combine old practices and family secrets with modern practices, cutting edge technology and higher education which agricultural university programs offer. They teach other farmers how to ameliorate their soils, how to grow better grass and hay, how to grow livestock and they are active supporters of sustainable agriculture.
The quality and the taste of our beef has been highly praised.
